Spying on WordPress Blogs

Even wondered what theme or plugins a WordPress blog was using?

Well, I'm going to show you how to find out!

Learn how inside this post…

First, you need to go to WhatWPThemeisThat.com, and enter the domain of the site you're trying to learn the theme of.

This will show you the blog's theme, then below the theme's name it will list the plugins on the site.

WhatWPThemeisThat.com does a great job with detecting themes, but when it comes to detecting plugins things can get a bit shaking.

It will find some, and miss some others.

That is why I like to also use the script CMS Explorer, it works for theme & plugin detection not only on WordPress, but also Drupal, Joomla!, and Mambo. Plus some bonus exploration tools for WordPress and Drupal.

Awesome! I was wondering what plugins my competition is using on their websites, but now I know. Thanks a lot for this post!

  3. Do you mind if I quote a few of your articles as long as I
provide credit and sources back to your weblog? My blog site is in the very same area of interest as yours and
my visitors would definitely benefit from some
of the information you provide here. Please let me know if this okay with you.
    Many thanks!
